STAUBCO® Sewer Rehabilitation System
Our STAUBCO® Sewer Rehabilitation System, which has general technical approval no. Z-42.3-354 from the German Centre of Competence for Construction, enables you to rehabilitate sewer systems with minimal effort.
This is a two-component flooding procedure for the temporary rehabilitation of buried sewer channels and pipes of nominal diameters DN 100 to DN 500 and their associated shafts.
The system is based on the chemical bonding of the two easy-to-use components
- STAUBCO® Silikatkomponente A
- STAUBCO® Härter CA
As the manufacturer, we sell both components to professional sewer rehabilitation businesses.
Benefits to you at a glance
- You profit from our experience. STAUBCO® has proven its value for more than 20 years in practical applications all across Germany.
- You don’t have to dig up pipes when you use STAUBCO®.
- STAUBCO® is extremely economical.
- The individual components are not considered hazardous materials as defined by the German Ordinance on Hazardous Substances (Gefahrstoffverordnung).
- The finished individual components can be delivered at any time. We supply everywhere in Germany. You can even pick up the STAUBCO® components with your own suction vehicle.
Product Information
STAUBCO® Silikatkomponente A
We developed STAUBCO® Silikatkomponente A specifically for sealing sewers. During the flooding procedure, the material is not lost to the soil, but instead remains in there due to his high adhesive strength and fills in unsealed couplings or cavities in the soil.
STAUBCO® Härter CA
STAUBCO® Härter CA has an extremely low viscosity and can therefore rapidly flow through STAUBCO® Silicate Component A without pushing the material out in front of it.
Field of application
The STAUBCO® procedure is a no-dig sealing method for:
- sewer lines,
- sewer pipes and
- associated shafts
made of
- concrete,
- stoneware,
- fiber cement,
- masonry (for shafts only),
- cast iron.
Joint couplings in PVC-U sewer systems may also be rehabilitated using this procedure.
Damage profile
Application conditions
The STAUBCO® procedure may be used for the rehabilitation of crack formations, leaking pipe couplings and connections (regardless of pipe material) under the following conditions:
- radial cracks with a width ≤ 5 mm
- axial cracks with a width ≤ 3 mm
- combination of cracks in the longitudinal and radial direction under the conditions mentioned above
- leaking coupling gaps (pipe connections)
- no root ingrowths
- working temperature: > 5 °C

Gel test
- Place the STAUBCO® Silikatkomponente A in a small container (e.g. yogurt cup) and add the same amount of STAUBCO® Härter CA (e.g. 50 mL).
- Stir briefly.
- A solid, white conglomerate should form on the bottom within 3 minutes at most.
- The supernatant forms a clear liquid.
